I have a strong passion for therapy, I don’t believe in the stigma attached to therapy that something has to be wrong with someone for them to seek to better themselves. I have a strong dedication to aiding my clients in reaching their fullest potential. Our optimal selves emerge when we can undergo healing and embark on a path that brings us fulfillment. In my role as a mental health practitioner, I employ my unique skill set and evidence-based techniques to guide you in discovering the healing and guidance you seek. I view therapy as a collaborative partnership between the client and therapist. As the client, you establish the goals for our work together, and my role is to empower and provide you with the tools necessary to achieve those objectives.
I employ a diverse range of therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique needs of each individual and the overarching goals they aim to accomplish. I like to use Narrative and Humanistic Therapy to empower my clients, and to create a trusting and collaborative environment. I work to create a partnership with my clients where we can discuss their experiences and explore how they can learn and derive meaning from those experiences. By integrating techniques from CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy) and DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy) we can collaboratively pinpoint tangible steps that lead you to a point where you take pride in your story and feel confident about the direction you’re heading.
