Ashley Lilly is currently pursuing her master’s degree in social work at Liberty University. She is a military spouse and has prior experience working with vulnerable youth and their families. Ashley looks forward to continuing her work with children, individuals, and families. She has joined True Blue Behavioral Health as a Clinical Social Work Intern.

After witnessing some of the deep hurt within my community, I decided I wanted to help. Recognizing that everyone encounters overwhelming challenges and many face trauma in their life, my goal is to support and uplift you. I aim to help you become the best version of yourself. This means different things to different people, which is why I look forward to coming alongside you as a partner to uncover what this looks like in your eyes. You will set the goals, and I will use evidence-based techniques to help guide and empower you to meet those goals.

As we begin this journey together, you will experience a client-centered approach integrated with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques. In our sessions, we will explore your thoughts and emotions while identifying not only areas for growth but areas of strength as well. We will examine various aspects of your life to understand how these elements interconnect and influence each other, impacting your ability regulate emotions, improve interpersonal effectiveness, increase distress tolerance, and utilize mindfulness in ways to reduce negative symptoms. As we work together, we will acknowledge your growth and celebrate your successes. This collaborative approach aims to foster lasting change and help you build a resilient foundation for a fulfilling future.
