Duties

-Perform psychotherapy services to patients of True Blue Behavioral Health, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies. 

-Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to appointments is required.

-Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for True Blue Behavioral Health.

-Respond to patients’ requests for service, emails, or calls within 24 hours whether such requests are made via email, by phone, voicemail, the Client Portal etc. or through the True Blue Behavioral Health website.  Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such patients. 

-Communicate with a patient’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary.

-Timely complete written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contact log notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by True Blue Behavioral Health or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion (by 9:00AM Friday of each week).  Keep patient files accurate and up to date.

-Attend mandatory staff meetings and training as directed by True Blue Behavioral Health.

-Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the good will and reputation of True Blue Behavioral Health.  Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers.

-Passion for working with others (being collaborative) and helping our team members grow and learn.

-Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

-Align with True Blue Behavioral Health mission, vision, and values.

-Must be punctual in reporting to work.

-Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work; and

-Active license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, LMSW, LGPC) in the State(s) you will be providing psychotherapy.  A copy of all active licenses must be provided to True Blue Behavioral Health.

-Available to hold at least 27 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by True Blue Behavioral Health.

-Be organized and detail oriented.

-Be a team player.

-Be able to work independently on tasks assigned.

-Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

-Prior experience in a private practice setting highly preferred.

-Have at least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, etc.).

Salary

30-50% commission of paid and reimbursed claims, based on hours worked.

-Full-time = 27 sessions per week (plus 5 admin hours) at 50% commission.

-Part-time = 20 sessions per week (plus 2 admin hours) at 40% commission

-Part-time = 12-19 sessions per week (plus 1 admin hours) at 30% commission.

***Provisionally licensed therapists will earn a maximum of 40% commission, even if working a FT schedule.

Therapist

Therapists provide outpatient individual and group therapy to patients of  True Blue Behavioral Health.  Behavioral Health services include treatment of children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups, as well as facilitation of workshops and presentations. Duties

-Provide individual and group therapeutic counseling

-Identify and assess barriers to learning through analysis of factors impinging on student adjustment including factors in the home, school, and community

-Provide crisis-related support to students and staff

-Assist with reintegrating students back into classroom following crisis or hospitalization by organizing, leading, and case managing aftercare meetings and/or plans

-Conduct assessments to determine baseline functioning and determine progress of intervention

-Conduct psychosocial assessments; Determine and implement appropriate behavior strategies to effect change in behavioral social interactions of students and their families

-Coordinate referrals to other specialists in the school and community environments Participate in risk and threat assessments when appropriate

-Provide professional development for staff, students, and families; Conduct classroom observations of students

-Provide social work case management; Provide mental health support services to students

-Participate in meetings related to student progress (i.e. PST, 504, IEP, etc) and/or community-based meetings/teams when appropriate

-Performs other duties as assigned 

Qualifications and Skills

-Master’s degree in Social Work required;

-Certification or Licensure as a Social Worker issued by the Maryland State Department of Mental Health and Hygiene required; and

-Maryland State Department of Education School Social Worker Licensure eligibility. 

Terms

-Payment: This position can be filled as an W2 Employee or Independent Contractor, paid at the agreed upon hourly rate for services rendered, which includes travel between schools. Employees shall submit their time sheet twice monthly, along with a summary of the work performed with student specific information, as appropriate. Contractors shall submit an invoice to True Blue Behavioral Health on the last day of each month for the work performed during that month. The invoice should include: an invoice number, the dates covered by the invoice, the hours expended, and a summary of the work performed with student specific information, as appropriate.

-Expenses: Contractor shall be responsible for all expenses incurred while performing services under this agreement, with the exception of travel between schools as this will be reimbursed at the IRS rate.

-Contractor may not assign or subcontract any rights or obligations under this agreement.

-The contractor shall submit to a criminal background check. The contract may be violated at True Blue Behavioral Health’s sole option if True Blue Behavioral Health is not satisfied with the results of the criminal background check.

School Social Worker

Social Worker will provide direct, consultation, and case management to support student progress and mental health in the General Education and Special Education Curriculum to St. Mar's County Maryland Schools and school age children who are customers of  True Blue Behavioral Health).
